In the maidcafe

It's silent in the cafe. Rasumi cleans the tables and prepair them for costumers. The weather is nice outside. The sun shines brightly and there are no clouds in the sky. She hopes that some people will visit her cafe. Today she's working alone. The other maids took a day off because they have some business to do.
Rasumi sighs bored and leans on her arms on the bar. She closes her eyes and thinks about the nice people she met last time.

Iivari walks by the café on the way back to the Library. He stops at the front door. Out of all the time he had been in Green Falls he had not once stepped foot in this café. He had no idea what a maid café was. Maybe he should just take a peek in and find out. It couldn't be that different from a normal café right? He steps through the door. The café was completely empty except for someone in the corner. He couldn't tell who it was though. They weren't facing him.

Kaichi holds a book in his arm while walking on the street. He is going to the library to deliver the book. Then suddenly a colorful shop caught his attention. A maid café? He never saw this one before. The cute decoration of the café makes it welcoming. Maybe take a look? He still has nothing else to do today. After he put a step into the café, he looks around. There are no much people except a purple haired guy and someone near the bar. He takes a seat and stare at the maid till she moves.

Here we have the lovely Kain. He wanders down the street playing with the way he walks. Yes he gets that bored. He was trying to get his pace to the point where it didn't looked rushed yet at the same time he wanted his hair to dance in the small bit of breeze created. Ah how he loved his hair. He shook his head a bit, flipping his hair and ran a hand through his bangs. He just freaking loved himself ok? He blinked a bit when he spotted the made cafe. If looked... interesting. He had heard of these before.
Walking closer as always he stared at his own reflection in the glass before peering inside. Yeah there wasn't that many people in there. He just gave a quick glance so he didn't happen to recognize them on the spot. But oh look a lovely lady at the counter. Time for Kain to enter in his charming and sexy way. He unbuttoned his shirt a bit and walked through the door at the pace he was just practicing.

Orion walked down the street, they had heard about a café where apparently the women would dress like maids in, it had piqued their interested and they really wanted to see it. They held a small piece of paper in their hand, it has the address for the café for on it, they had asked one of their customers the other day to write it down when he was talking about it to his buddy. Orion was smiling warmly when they finally saw the café, ah! it looked rather nice, they approached the building and walked over to the door, pushing it open as they walked in.
The first thing Orion did was look at how everything looked inside, how the tables were placed and what the chairs looked like... even if the place was bright or not, they really enjoyed bright placed, it just felt more warm and happy than these dark bars where these strange men would offer them drinks and such.
"aah~"
They then noticed the couple of people that were in the café, Orion recognized Iivari sitting there and... Kaichi? aah~ so many familiar faces, they really enjoyed it... Oh. There was Kain! It amused them how often they'd suddenly meet him around randomly.
"Greetings."
They spoke in a calm polite down as they approached Kain.

Iivari waved at Orion as they came in. He then looked back at the maid to see that it was Rasumi! He immediately froze up. Of all the people it could be why was it her?! He looked down at his feet shyly. Maybe she wouldn't notice him. Pretty girls like her never did. He might stay a while though. He liked be around her. He noticed Kain enter out of the corner of his eye. Oh great not THIS guy! The full of himself model made him want to throw up. How could anyone be so in love with himself? His fists clench. He better not just be here to flirt with anything that moved. Especially if that anything happened to work here.

Caolán was excited when he'd heard of this cafe. Rather than the maids walking around he was more interested in the sweets they'd boasted. His brain was so focused on the pastries he walked in without noticing the two people in the cafe who stood out the most. One being his boss, the other being Kain. He internally groaned, noticing only the insufferable blond. He didn't want to deal with that jerk today but he did want his pastries. Maybe the man would be too busy flirting with the maids to notice him, at least he hoped so as he made his way to a table. He had yet to notice his boss, Iivari, however.

Rasumi wakes up from her daydreaming when she heard some footsteps in her cafe. She quickly strokes her dress neatly and welcome the guests with a smile.

Firstly she approaches Iivari and leads him to an empty seat.
Welcome master!
she said with a bright smile. She hands him the menu card and bows of politeness.
Call me when you have made a choice, master.
She didn't expect that they'll meet again so soon, but she is happy that he came. After she jumps over to the little blonde boy at a table. She blushes a little when she noticed that he is staring the whole time at her. Maybe she shouldn't space out too much...
Welcome master!
she greets with a smile. The boy's appereance looks similar to her friend Kaichi...but a lot younger. Could he be his little brother? He is really cute...
Uhm, excuse me. I have to help some costumers. Call me when you've decided an order.
She jumps over to Kain and Orion and greets them happily.
A table for two?
It looks like these two know each other. Are they friends? Or maybe a couple? She leads them to an empty table and give them a menu card.
Call me when you have made a decision.
She jumps over to the guy with glasses. She never saw him before. Judging from his appereance he must like sweets. A rough guess. Rasumi approaches him with a cup filled with sweets.
Welcome master!
she greets with a happy smile. She puts the cup on table and handed him a menu card. After she bows politely and walks back to the bar. She waits till someone calls her for an order.

Iivari forces himself to raise his hand. He didn't like drawing attention to himself and asking for her attention was extremely out of his comfort zone. He felt extreamly nervous. He tries not to look her in the eye as he quietly says I-I would like some Oolong tea and a muffin please ma'am...
He hoped he had not drawn too much attention to himself. It was bad enough that Rasumi was here to make him self conscious but with Kain here it was like a freakin nightmare. Maybe Kain would leave? That would make it better but there were still others here. Actually that was good. He probably wouldn't be able to take it if he was alone with Rasumi.

Kain looked to Orion and of course he smiled at them.
"Hey Orion."
He pushed some hair out of his face as he looked at them. He really hoped he was on their good side today not liking when they were angry at him. Though why should he really care? He didn't particularly care when anyone else hated him. What made Orion so special?
He blinked a bit when Rasumi seated them together and watched as she went off to tend to other customers. He looked at Orion and in a hushed voiced asked:
"Orion quick what kind of sweets do I like?"

Orion has opened their mouth to ask Kain how he was, but then Rasumi greeted them and before they could say that they weren't together, they found themselves sitting in front of Kain by a table for two. Oh.
"hm?"
They raised an eyebrow at his question but then chuckled softly
"You like about anything, cake's, candy, whatever"
they answered and nodded to themselves, agreeing with themselves yet again. It was quite a habit that they had, constantly nodding to themselves.
They looked over at Rasumi and noticed that she was watering Iivari, Orion waved at Iivary happily and continued to look around
"what brought you to this place, Kain?"
They asked
"Was it that the girls here wear dresses and call you master?"
They couldn't help but tease slightly, but then again, they were rather certain that they were at least 80% correct with that guess. They finally picked up the menu that has been placed in front of them, flipping through it while they read what was for sale.

"T-They really do that here? I had heard about places like this but I didn't know it was true~ This is the kind of place I can get used to."
He was of course smirking as he watched Rasumi for a bit longer. He then glanced at the menu Orion was holding and gave a tilt of his head.
"Do you know what you're getting... I might just get the same thing."
He really didn't know what exactly he wanted. He couldn't particularly name anything that he really liked, there had to be something though? He did tend to like some sweet tasting things like ice cream. What was that flavor again? Chocolate? Maybe something chocolaty would be good?
"What about you? How did you end up here?"
He asked as he glanced around the area again trying to see who all was here. He cringed when he saw Cao and quickly snatched up a menu to attempt to hide his face. Shit... of all places.

Kaichi raises an eyebrow when Rasumi left. Did she not recognize him? They are going to the same school. He picks up the menu card and flips through it. The cute and delicious looking desserts makes him almost drool. It's hard to make a choice. He takes a look around him and noticed more people had entered the cafe. He recognize all of them. The library guy, Kain, Orion, Caolán... He glances at Iivari who seems like a bit nervous. It is because there are some demons around here? Or because... He looks in Rasumi's direction and after to Iivari. It could get interesting...
He flips through the menu card again and after looks in Kain's and Orion's direction.
Since when did they became a couple? He laughes softly at that thought. He wonder if Kain noticed him.
He quickly glances at the cup of sweets that Rasumi gived to Caolán. Why did she act so nice to him? He pouts and tries to put on a sweet face before calling Rasumi.
Excuse me miss, I'd like to order a strawberry-cream pie and peach flavoured tea
Actually he wanted to chitchat with her a bit, but maybe that isn't possible since she has to serve so much costumers alone.

Orion looked up from the menu and rolled their eyes, chuckling slightly over what he said. They were a bit surprised that he didn't know that, but then again he has a horrid memory, isn't that surprising that he doesn't know this. Orion continued to look at Kain over their menu, feeling the small feeling of frustration roll around in their stomach, they had caught Kain not once, but twice with their eye... and even if he has no memory of exactly how he obtained the eye, he still clings to it like some dear treasure. Orion looked back down to their menu when Kain asked them what they would get. They shook of the feeling and ran their hand through their bangs, scratching their scar lightly under it.
"humm~ Well, I am going to get a strawberry cheesecake and some tea with milk, do you like that?"
They asked and grinned at him, cheesecake tasted great, just recently had Orion tried it for the first time ever and certainly they wanted more of that delicacy.
Kain's expression didn't fly over their head though, they raised an eyebrow when he seemed to hide behind the menu, out of curiosity they looked around the café once again, making eye-contact with the child that reminded them of Kaichi for a split second before looking over at caolán.
"ah."
That must be it, Orion remembered when Kain hid behind them while Caolán aimed his guns at him.
"I highly doubt he will do anything here, it is not dark yet."
They tried to say happily to make Kain feel better, it was rather odd in their opinion that even they had almost every reason to hate Kain, with or without memory, they couldn't bring themselves to be cruel to him when he couldn't remember anything... In the back of their head they knew they were getting too soft, what if he regains all his memories again? Orion took a deep breath as they spaced out a little, staring down at the table they sat by, their scar started to itch.

"Ye-yeah that will do fine. It sounds good."
He squeaked out still trying to hide. Maybe he wasn't notice. Fuck what was he talking about? Of course he had to have been he was Kain Mother Fucking Dalmont. He can't walk into a room without turning an eye... though of course whether it was a good head turn or the head turn of someone who wanted to punch his face in was both possible. What was he going to do? He attempted to peek at Orion around the menu.
"... yeah it's day time... instead of shooting at me he might try something worse. He might be nice to me again."
Cao-Cao had apologized to him so Kain had no further reason to be a douche to him any more. Kain wasn't having any headaches today... so maybe he wouldn't be earning sympathy. Ok... was that really worse then the other trying to kill him again?
He tried to glance around the room again. Ok... how was he going to get the lovely waitress's attention when he was hiding like this. This wasn't very charming. Alright Kain you're going to have to suck it up. Oh look Kaichi's here... and is calling her attention. Damnit... So was that purple haired guy... Kain was going to have some competition.

Caolán noticed Kain's glances but tried to pretend not to notice him. He shoved himself in the corner table and his behind his menu. So far so good, if the other didn't try talking to him then he could have his sweets in peace. He waved the maid over, "Ma'am, if I could get the specialty tea set that would be lovely, thank you."

Caolán noted that he was the only one not in a group, even Kain was with....Orion? How unexpected. He continued pretending not to notice Kain, but he did pass a polite wave to the other. He was decently indifferent towards Orion, they weren't a close friend but they weren't an enemy either. Perhaps acquaintance might be the best word.

Rasumi reacts quickly to livari's order. She nods and wrote it down on a small piece of paper she had with her. After she goes back to the bar and makes some Oolong tea as livari ordered. Then she takes out a fresh made muffin from the oven. She made them this morning and added a special ingredient. Hopefully he will like it. She puts everything carefully on a tray and brings them to livari.
Here you go, master!
she said with a smile and puts his order on the table. She bows politely and jumps over to Kaichi. Eh...? Why is making such cute face... She blushes lightly and writes his order down. Somehow it feels like everyone is staring at her. Could it be that...? No, she's the only maid here. Don't think silly stuff... Rasumi jumps back to the bar and finish Kaichi's order within a few minutes. She's been working here for a while, so she can do everything very quickly. Before she brings the order to Kaichi she takes a look around. There is a strange atmosphere... It looks like everyone wants to kill each other off. The purple haired guy looks so innocent, but it looks like he is glaring at Kain the whole time. What could happend between those two? Plus Kain is staring at the guy with glasses. Hmm it feels like strangle relationship... Rasumi brings the order quickly to Kaichi.

she apologize and puts the order on table. Is this little boy involved in this drama too? Hopefully not... Who could harm a little child? It feels like this boy has an urge to talk with her. He's staring at her the whole time...
Maybe we could talk a little after I done my job
she says with a smile. She jumps over to Kain and orion.

She tilt her head slightly while looking at Orion. Is this person actually a girl or guy? She didn't pay attention at that before. Maybe she made a mistake of thinking that they are a couple. She writs the order down and jumps over to Caolán.

she answered as she writes the order down. After she goes back to the bar to make the orders. Meanwhile she keeps an eye on the costumers. If they are going to fight, she should be able to keep them down. The cafe isn't a battlefield.

As soon as she finished the orders she brings them to the costumers. She hopes that they will like it.

Iivari eats him meal slowly in silence. Occasionally he'll look up at Rasumi but immediately look back down at his food. It was very good. There was something special about the muffin that made it taste good. A spice maybe? He took a sip of his tea. It was perfectly warm. He glances over at Rasumi again. There were quite a few customers for one person to be working alone on. Maybe she could use some help... but that would require talking to her! Iivari was torn between doing something nice for Rasumi and his terror of actually talking to her. He stares blankly at his food trying to sort it out in his mind.

Orion looked over at Caolán just in time to see him wave at them, they grinned widely and waved back, they really wished they could ask Iivary and all the other people they knew to join them... buut... They glanced at Kain right before they laughed over what he said.
"But being nice is a good thing, Kain!"
They said and then Rasumi approached them.
"indeed! thank you!"
They responded and watched her walk away, she really seemed nice, Orion liked that. But then again, people can always ACT nice but not BE nice. They sighed slightly and shrugged the feeling off, deciding that they didn't want to feel nervous or negative. When Rasume brought their order to them they grinned.
"Yumm! I think you'll like this, Kain."
They said to Kain as they picked up the small fork and right away started to eat the cake.

Kain sighed putting down the menu to stop hiding and brushed the bangs out of his face.
"... But if two people don't get along... Being nice is always suspicious... I'm worried he is going to try something to get back at me..."
Kain mumbled but then put on his smile for Rasumi as she came back, thanking her with charming words before looking down at the treat she brought. He tilted his head as he eyed it lightly. He smelt it a bit. It really did smell good. Hopefully It would taste just as good. Orion seemed really excited about it. So it must be. Orion most of the time had good judgement. He took a sip of his tea first before taking a bite of his cake. His face lit up at it. It was delicious.~ He took bite after happy bite.

Orion simply chuckled over what Kain said, well... he did have a point.
"I am not going to try to convince yo that Caolán means you no harm, he seems rather trigger happy and... well, did try to shoot you last time you met. But if you treats you well during the day, you should accept it, while keeping your eyes open for anything that seems like a trap"
They took a sip of their tea.
"And the only reason why I give you this advice is because I dont want you to get hurt."
Orion really wished that they could find it in them to dislike Kain... to hate him, really, but it was just so... impossible. They looked back down to the table as they continued eating, well... they just have to hope that he'd leave their other eye alone...

Kain gulped as Orion said this. He hadn't told the other about anything else that happened. Oh shit. He can't tell them now. The one thing that really has him embarrassed. He can't tell his lovely little toy here that he kissed Cao-Cao. The thought of it alone almost brought a blush to him. Why did he let himself fall for such a trap. All he was trying to do was get an apology for when he busted his face in the library by tripping over Caolán. Ok actually that wasn't even important it was that the other was talking about him as though he wasn't even there that really stung Kain. Kain shook his head and pressed a hand to his forehead his fingers gripping at his bangs. Of course Kain was being a dick about getting that apology... but that was all he wanted. Oh well at least he ultimately won, but at what price...
With a sigh he continued eating his cake still holding his head in his hand, elbow propped up on the table for support.
"Don't worry... I'll be keeping an eye out thank you for your concern."
He glanced slowly up at Orion managing to give a bit of a smile. He was more thankful to the other then he would ever admit. For one the other wasn't trying to kill him after everything that he had apparently done. If only he could remember... then again this lack of memory was probably the only thing that was saving him.

Orion raised an eyebrow at his reaction, did something more happen between the two that they don't know of?? They tilted their head slightly to the side but then sighed a bit, deciding they wouldn't bother him with petty questions that would make them seem jealous or something. They smiled back at Kain and chuckled slightly.
"You're welcome~"
They mused happily, hiding their curiosity perfectly.
"you'll be fine."

Kain continued to smile lightly at Orion as he finished his cake, pushing the empty plate aside.
"You're right... Of course I'll be..."
He reached out with the hand that wasn't propping his head up and lightly patted Orion's cheek. He chuckled lightly and gazed back out at everyone.
"This is a nice enough place. We might have to come here more often..."
He spoke softly as he slowly pulled his hand back.
"You think maybe we should offer the waitress a hand? Of course when you're done eating."
A smirk appeared across his face and he chuckled lightly acting all Kain like again. He was ignoring everyone other then Orion and Rasumi at the moment.

Caolán ate his tea set happily, a little sad that he was the only person here alone... He would have to take Sacul or Abel next time. He finished it and quietly stood, paying for his dish and heading out without saying hi to anyone.
